Kentucky Downs

Tickets On Sale NOW for the 2nd Annual Southern Nights Benefit Bash at Kentucky Downs September 10th.  Alex’s Charity is one of the featured Charities!  Ticket sales are earmarked for each charity so please let them know you are supporting The Alex Fund when you place your order.

Tickets start at $100 which includes appetizers, and dinner served to you while enjoying the incredible talent of some amazing artists, worth well over the price tag. Performers include Jeffrey Steele, Pearl Heart, Locash Cowboys, the Legendary Steve Cropper, and Chicago’s Jason Scheff!  This will be a night to remember.

The Alex Fund is raising money to build a skatepark in Alex’s name.  We are partnered with the Middle TN YMCA.  Contact us to find out more.

Thanks to all of you who came out and supported the 4th Annual Alex LeVasseur Skate & Music Festival.  We can’t believe the event has made it to its 4th year.  We are so thankful for all of the love, help and support for the event.  It is all of you who make the day successful.  We have a few big projects on the horizon and look forward to your continued support.  Please sign up for our newsletter if you aren’t already so you can find out about all of our upcoming events first.

Alex Fest Performers

We are excited to announce a few of the performers for this year’s Alex LeVasseur Memorial Skate & Music Festival. The performers include: 3 Ring Circus Records artists  Jeffrey Steele & Pearl Heart, Warner Brothers recording artist Frankie Ballard, and the Nashville Academy of Rock.  More artists TBA.

The event will take place for the 4th year at Jim Warren Park in Franklin, TN.  June 27th 2010 2pm - 9pm.  We are still in need of volunteers and sponsors to help with the event.  Please contact RememberAlex.com@gmail.com if you can help in anyway.

Alex Fest 2010 is just around the corner.  The day-long event featuring live music, skate demos, giveaways, autographed auction items, local vendors, food, and more will take place Sunday June 27th at Jim Warren Park in Franklin, TN from 2-9PM. This is a FREE family friendly event.

If you would like to participate in the event as a sponsor(monetary or in-kind), there are several different opportunities.  In addition, we are always in need of volunteers to help make the event run smoothly. if you are interested in helping out with the event as a sponsor or volunteer please contact us at RememberAlex.com@gmail.com

We are very excited about our big fundraiser coming up March 11th 2010 at Rocketown.  This will be a huge bash to Remember Alex and raise money for the incredible programs set up in his name to help overlooked and at-risk youth.  The Alex LeVasseur Fund of the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee has helped countless teens to date and has several projects lined up to do even more.  We would love you to be a part of this incredible event.  Tickets are extremely limited and are moving fast.  This will be the go-to event of the year, you don’t want to miss it. We’ve already told you Pearl Heart and the LoCash Cowboys will be joining us to help raise a lot of money to help at-risk and overlooked youth, but now we’re adding the incredible Heidi Newfield to the mix.  Heidi was the lead singer of Trick Pony until she went off on her own to make a solo record.  Now she is a successful artist in her own right with songs like “Johnny & June” and “Cry Cry”.  We’re so excited to have Heidi at this year’s event.  Don’t forget to get your tickets HERE now, before they are gone.

Tickets are officially on sale for the 3rd Annual Jeffrey Steele & Friends event which raises funds to help overlooked, underprivileged, and at-risk youth by motivating them in school and in life.  This year will be our biggest event yet, and we will be raising even more money to help with an incredible new project we just can’t wait to share with you.  We will spend this week announcing artists slated to perform at this year’s event and we hope you are just as excited as us about the line-up.  And remember, we always have something up our sleeves, you never know who might show up the day of the event. Now onto our first artist:

PEARL HEART - If you are a Nashville Star fan, then you no doubt remember them from the show.  These 3 sister’s have harmonies like you can’t imagine.  They are currently working on their debut record with their producer Jeffrey Steele.  If you were are last year’s event, you’ll remember their surprise performance of the song Jeffrey penned for famed Country Countdown Host Bob Kingsley.
